Reflections on Home is a commissioned, year-long artist-in-residence collaboration between artist Jane Watt and Sara Heywood on the Alton Estate, Roehampton, London, one of the largest post-war housing estates in the UK. Artscape and Redrow commissioned it with Wandsworth Council as part of the Alton Estate Regeneration.
Reflections on Home is a socially engaged project that involves numerous key local community groups, schools and residents in a programme of workshops, interviews and events. The project will culminate in a series of soundscape art interventions on the estate in Spring 2019.
Commissioned by Artscape Management in partnership with Redrow Homes and Wandsworth Council.
